As things start to heat up for the Summer, most people will be reaching for sunscreen at some point. Did you know that from 10am-2pm the sun is the strongest and should be avoided? The goal is to wear sunscreen every day to avoid sun damage, skin cancer, and premature aging. But the biggest complaint when it comes to sunscreen is that it tends to leave an oily, white, chalky mess behind, which is not appealing! Thank God its 2022 and the days of an ashy mess are long gone! I want to introduce to you 5 new products that will change your mind about sunscreen and will hopefully encourage you to reach for sun protection on a daily basis!
I was first introduced to this sunscreen while working with the company for a photoshoot. I was gifted this brush-on sunscreen and have kept it in my purse ever since. Its great for when you are on the go, and perfect for when you need to touch up.

It comes in 5 different shades to match most skin tones and is great for kids too! My favorite part is is that since its a mineral powder, and comes with an applicator, your hands stay clean while applying, so you dont have to run to a sink afterwords to wash any creams off! It's also mattifying, so if you have a bit of shine it will take that down, especially in the summer heat!
This is another great product you can keep in your purse or backpack to be able to re-apply throughout the day! And again, no messy hands (can you tell I hate having to get my hands messy? haha) Its also colorless so you can apply under makeup! According to Neutrogena, Its formulated with Helioplex® Technology which helps deliver superior broad-spectrum protection from skin-aging UVA rays and skin-burning UVB rays. Gotta love that!
I'm all about ease when it comes to makeup! So if you have the chance to skip a step, why not? This CC Cream from It Cosmetics comes built in with a Broad Spectrum Sunscreen that is SPF 50! Plus its packed with anti-aging skincare and is color correcting too! This is one of my faves and I think that it will be yours as well. It's perfect for summer. A little goes a long way with this cream, so you can use this in place of your foundation and you wont be caking it on!
Let me just list a few things I love about this product. Its 100% invisible under makeup. It's scentless. It gives your skin a glowy effect. It works under your makeup as a primer. Their Invisible Shield sunscreen is a clear water-gel, formulated to absorb into the skin instantly leaving no white residue and no greasy shine. It was created to be used as an additional step in your skincare routine. And I am all for it!
